How to Apply for the OPRA Document Evaluation Process
What is the APC Document Evaluation?
Before booking your OPRA exam date, you must definitively prove your identity and academic qualifications to the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC). This is called the Document Evaluation process and serves as your formal entry point into Australian pharmacy registration.
Required Documentation
- Valid passport (certified color scan, all pages).
- Pharmacy degree certificate and full academic transcripts.
- Letter of Good Standing from your home registration board (if registered).
- English language proficiency score (if required).
- Evidence of any postgraduate study or internship.
Warning
Documents must be certified by an authorized notary or JP. The APC does not accept standard photocopies or uncertified color scans. Submitting incorrect documentation restarts the 8-week processing clock.
Letter of Good Standing
If you are registered as a pharmacist in your home country, your domestic pharmacy board must send a Letter of Good Standing directly to the APC. This proves you have no disciplinary actions on record.
